Sing With Us!

La Caccina’s singers come from a wide range of musical backgrounds and are enthusiastic collaborators, gifted educators, and versatile musicians. Interested singers should be able to demonstrate both a healthy straight tone and a beautiful, vibrated sound.

We are auditioning all voice parts in July 2026 for our 2026-2027 season, Shattered Glass. Read on for information on how to audition, and use the form below to reach out to us with any questions.

About La Caccina Auditions

  1. our auditions are collaborative.

    We want to hear how new voices blend with our current singers. In addition to vocalizing to determine range, singers who audition with La Caccina should be prepared to sing with the ensemble on a prepared excerpt and a sight-reading excerpt.

  2. All treble singers who identify with our mission are welcome to audition.

    We are a femme-forward ensemble that champions and performs diverse, innovative repertoire for women’s voices to engage audiences and inspire the next generation of collaborative musicians. If you’re a treble singer and that sounds like your cup of tea, we want to hear from you!

  3. Auditions for the 2026-2027 season will be held on July 18 and 27, 2026 in chicago’s lakeview neighborhood.

    Please let us know if you have a preference of audition date.

How to Audition

  1. Request an audition time!

    Either fill out the form on this page OR email us with your name, pronouns, and voice part in 4-part SA divisi.

  2. Send us a prescreen video

    Record yourself singing 60-90 seconds in any style, genre, or language. We want to hear what makes your voice beautiful.

  3. We’ll be in touch!

    Our Artistic Director will reach out to you with more information.

    Audition pre-screen materials are kindly requested by July 13, 2026.
