Marguerite DiMarco

Soprano

Lauded for her “rich, shimmering voice”, Marguerite DiMarco is a Chicago-based soprano studying at Northwestern University. DiMarco first debuted in the Chicago classical music community in 2024 with the Opera Festival of Chicago chorus and has remained active since, appearing with Chicago Opera Productions and as a recitalist on both WFMT’s Introductions program and in Great Lakes Operetta’s inaugural concert.

Offstage, DiMarco also studies neuroscience and is fascinated by the insight it lends the performing arts. She has devised and performed original musical projects with Northwestern’s SeeSaw Theater, exploring how sensory experiences enrich storytelling, particularly for young neurodivergent audiences, and she currently sings with Songs by Heart, a Chicagoland organization centered around the profound impact of singing for dementia patients. For more on this mind-music connection, see her 2023 TEDx talk, “Not Just for Show: The Power of Youth Musical Theater to Change the World!”
