Joelle Kross

 

Business Administrator

Joelle Kross, coloratura soprano and arts administrator, has held development positions at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Celebrity Series of Boston, SpeakEasy Stage Company, and the Chicago Vocal Arts Consortium. She is also on the Board of Advisors of the William Baker Choral Foundation and the artistic director of Beaux & Belles Carolers, the longtime Victorian carolers at the Drake Hotel’s Holiday Tea and throughout the city.

As a performer, Joelle has been praised as a “colorful, old-school soubrette” (Vocal Arts Chicago) and “petite, spritely, and utterly delightful in every scene” (Theater Mirror). She is currently a section leader of the contemporary chamber choir Vox Venti and sings with the Schola and Seraphim ensembles at St. Clement Church. She has also appeared with the Goodman Theatre, Broadway in Chicago, Second City Blackout Cabaret, Transgressive Theatre-Opera, Main Street Opera, Floating Opera Company, and Forte Chicago. Joelle holds an MM in Voice Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and a BA in Theatre, Music, and French from Muhlenberg College.
